An Oasis in the Oasis city, the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club is a place that has something for everyone. Our club first opened its doors in 2007, and it has since evolved to become one of the most popular sports resorts in the UAE.
The irresistible charm of our traditional club has been built over 15 fruitful years of operating and it is safe to say our club has become a cosy second home to many Emiratis.
The historical and charming sports club had been established by none other than his highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and fully endorsed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown prince of Abu Dhabi. With the goal of "preserving the legacy " of the late Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan.
With such excellent contributors, it is no surprise that the quality of our facility provides a sense of old charm and a family feel.
First and foremost our equestrian club is at the root of our lineage, opened with the intent of providing exceptional horsemanship and equestrian skill for riders of all levels. The horses also experience a first-class stay in our snug livery where they are well looked after by our dedicated staff of trained ostlers.
To name a few of the resources available to the dedicated equestrians of Abu Dhabi, Riders and their horses also have access to an indoor arena, 6 black sand arenas, a horse pool, walker machines and a flat race track.
Our shooting club started off with a bang in 2009, with one of the best facilities In terms of Olympic and ISSF (International Shooting Sport Federation) standards, our high tech Shooting Club provides the greatest indoor and outdoor shooting facilities in the UAE. In addition to the pop-up target system that provides greater difficulty to the shooters seeking more of a challenge, all ranges are equipped with the world-leading electronic scoring systems from SIUS Ascor. Our facilities include an exciting airsoft range, a 25-meter pistol range, a 50-meter rifle range, as well as a thrilling outdoor range with a 5-shot combination shotgun range for the sharpshooters. Be it for competitive training, shooting for fun or laser shooting for kids, our shooting club is equipped with it all.
To complete the Trifecta, our flawless golf club was the first grass course in the city and includes an 18 hole championship course with the neatest fairways and the finest putting greens, the back 9 also includes floodlights, meaning your golfing experience doesn’t need to end once the sun goes down!
Our golf facilities also include a 9 hole academy course, a 75 bay driving range and a swing art studio room for you to perfect your swing before shooting great scores during your round.
Do not be mistaken however, the Action doesn’t end with horse riding, shooting and golf. At AESGC we specialise in leisure and sport, therefore, visitors may also enjoy swimming pools, gyms, tennis & basketball courts, extreme wall climbing and most recently cricket facilities where cricketers can train and practice. Soon Visitors will have the luxurious option of staying over at our resort, the up and coming Millennium Al Ain Golf Resort Hotel, will offer great luxury in the form of approximately 220 rooms and suites, as well as 60 chalets. This hotel building will appeal to sophisticated taste, with a breathtaking panoramic view of the dazzling resort set against the majestic Jebel Hafeet and the reality of spotless seclusion.
After a long and busy day filled with all kinds of activities, guests can come together and unwind over a meal at one of our four restaurants. Each restaurant at the AESGC offers a completely different dining experience from the previous. Whether customers are in the mood for an exquisite oriental meal with live Djs or a quite fine dining experience with a view, there is something for everyone at the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club.
