Introduction

We are pleased to welcome you to the Al Ain Amblers Rugby Football Club!

The Club is situated within the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club immediately southwest of the Tawam Hospital roundabout.

Our world-class facilities include: five floodlit rugby pitches, a well-equipped gymnasium, swimming pools, beauty salon, tennis courts, soccer, football, netball, basketball, children’s play area, wall climbing and the newly added cricket. We currently run rugby for adults and children ranging in age from Under 6 to Veterans, including regular social touch rugby.

Although Rugby is an integral part of the Club, with eighteen youth teams, three men’s teams and a thriving women’s team, there is also much more on offer. The Club prides itself on being a family focused facility, catering for all sports enthusiasts, and it is continually striving to not only enhance the existing facilities, but to also develop new facilities and services for the members to enjoy.

VISIONS AND VALUES

The Al Ain Amblers Rugby Football Club envisions that at all times the executive committee, registered members and players will abide by the Club’s constitution and bylaws to further develop the sport of rugby union played at the Club and in Al Ain. All members registered with the Club must represent the Club on and off the rugby field with: discipline, sportsmanship, integrity and respect. The Club prides itself in its reputation for fair play, camaraderie and hospitality and tasks all members to uphold these values. In a multi-sports environment where other sports may wish to seek affiliation to the Club and share facilities and budgetary requirements, the executive committee in consultation with the players’ representatives must consider first the needs of rugby union before any such affiliation is accepted.

This Club Constitution is a working document compiled to offer guidance to the Executive Committee, management, officials, players and members to protect, empower and to meet the playing needs of all of the Club’s players and ensure that the Club functions smoothly and profitably.
