INTRODUCTION

The club was opened for riders in September 2007 with the vision to provide excellent horsemanship and equestrian skills in a safe and fun environment with quality instruction. From the beginner to the expert, horse riding at the AESGC offers a new level of instruction, experience and enjoyment since 2010.

The AESGC Equestrian Club has hosted many Local and International show jumping competitions; the biggest event the club has held was the prestigious President of the UAE Show Jumping Cup 2013. By January 2014, the AESGC became the fifth racecourse in the UAE to hold race meetings with their team.

OUR FACILITIES

INDOOR ARENA

The AESGC Equestrian Club has 65m x 30m indoor arena with 236 available seats for spectators and tabita fibre white sand that is used for lesson and designed to keep our riders working during summer season.

OUTDOOR ARENA & SHOW JUMPING GRANDSTAND

7 outdoor arenas with Show Jumping Granstand with 480 available seats for spectators which is being used for hosting national and international events.

HORSE SWIMMING POOL

The 80m long horse swimming pool is state-of-the-art and provides superior aerobic exercise without any of the stress on tendons, ligaments and muscles of the leg that traditional, weight-bearing on-the-ground exercise creates.

Swimming your horse maintains proper body and m tone, cardiopulmonary capacity and helps maintain or increase mental capabilities of the horse. It is especially effective in helping the equine athlete recover from sour attitudes that some seasoned horses develop after long periods of performance. Let your horse experience our horse pool at 52.50AED for 15 minutes

HORSE STABLE

The Equestrian Club has 288 air-conditioned stables, 24 air-conditioned quarantine stables and 304 horse boxes as the temporary stables where horses at kept and taken care in a top form.

We welcome all shapes and sizes here, from hairy ponies to competition horses and youngsters right though to those enjoying their retirement.

PADDOCKS AND WALKER MACHINES

The AESGC Equestrian Club has 2 paddocks with tabita fibre white sand which is being used for international shows and 4 paddocks where horses ca run and play freely. A 3 horse walker machines that will keep the horses execised regularly in a daily basis and maintain the health, physical condition and competences of the horses.

In their natural habitat horses walk about 16 hours a day, to scrape out a meagre living. That is why equines need more than one hour a day exercise.

RACETRACK AND GRANDSTAND

2500M Race Track

The AESGC Equestrian Club is home to the fifth race track in the United Arab Emirates. The track is open to the public for training and coaching at specified times for 50AED only per horse per 1 lap of the track.

Right handed oval shaped track of 2500 metres (12.5 furlongs). It has a 1100 metre straight course, and 1200 metres (6 furlongs) and 2000 metre (10 furlong) chutes. Surface is a mixture of sand, clay and silt.
